The Joan Dillan FAL Inspiration Award is presented to those individuals who embody the characteristics of its namesake. Joan Dillan, the first Firm Administrator of Fair, Anderson & Langerman, served as an inspiration and role model for all who passed through the firm. No one could fail to be touched by Joan because she shone on so many levels. Her deep compassion for people irrespective of their position in life; her abiding intellectual curiosity that inspired and amazed; her quiet wisdom on which so many depended; and most of all her unwavering loyalty to her family, friends, and colleagues, all were hallmarks of this remarkable woman and her remarkable life.

As Joan Dillan's spirit lives on through all of those whom she touched, so, too, have those who are honored by this award touched others deeply and indelibly.
