Bernadette Mashas, Tax Manager

Bernadette Mashas

Bernadette Mashas joined FAL in 2007 as a Tax Manager with more 20 years of specialized experience in the field of taxation. She has extensive knowledge in a number of industries, including real estate and construction, healthcare, and law firms.

As a Tax Manager, she oversees client service for a number of accounts and maintains ongoing communication with our clients throughout the year. She is widely recognized by her clients for her advisement on tax and business matters and her ability to outline and explain complex tax strategy. She has expertise in the preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, trust, estate, gift, benefit plan, and payroll tax returns.

Bernadette also works on staff development. She coaches and mentors a number of staff accountants - helping them identify and address issues and excel in their careers.

She is a graduate of the University of Southern California where she received a degree, Cum Laude, in business with an emphasis in accounting.

Bernadette is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants. She also volunteers her time with Sandpipers of Nevada, a non-profit swim team that allows the Valley’s youth to participate in competitive swimming year around.
