Slava Kohl joined FAL in 2005 as a junior staff accountant and recent college graduate. After a short time with the firm, Slava’s stand-out abilities propelled her through the ranks of staff accountant, senior accountant, supervisor, audit manager, client service director and to her current role of Partner.
Slava directs FAL’s audit practice which includes management of the firm’s audit teams as well as oversight of all financial statement work. Since starting her career with Fair, Anderson & Langerman she has become an expert in a wide range of industries, including retail, construction, architectural, engineering and professional services. Her background experience in both audit and tax offers an excellent combination of services strictly tailored for family owned business and closely held companies.
Originally from Bulgaria, Slava earned her degree from of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with an overall GPA of 3.93.
She is a member of the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Slava also volunteers her time and provides financial support to various non-for profit organizations primarily focused on youth development, education and homeless animals. On a weekend, she can be found hiking or playing tennis.
