Skills & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance a plus
- 5 years experience in Accounting or Finance position
- QuickBooks experience a must
- Ability to manage priorities and multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Individual should be a self-starter
- Team player attitude; This position will work for more than one person. Ability to adjust to different management and communication styles is imperative.
Duties/Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the position will include but are not limited to:
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly brokerage account reconciliations
- Prepare and enter monthly journal entries
- Process wire transfer requests
- Process Accounts Payable
- Perform Filing (electronic and paper)
- Assist Senior Staff Accountants and President as necessary
Basic Accounting test will be required
