What You’ll Bring to the Table…

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Currently licensed CPA

  • 3-5 years of public accounting experience

  • Thorough knowledge of GAAP

  • Abreast of tax law changes

  • Experience supervising multiple engagements

  • Experience leading and supervising staff

 

What You’ll Be Doing…

  • Tax return preparation as needed

  • Perform tax projections, structuring and modeling

  • Supervise engagements including planning, organization, execution, and coordination of assignments all while ensuring quality and timely delivery

  • Maximize personal charge time and that of staff supervised

  • Develop an understanding of the client's business and become a "functional expert" in the area

  • Supervise and review staff work

  • Communicate effectively with senior and subordinate staff as to status of work, deadlines, and budgets

  • Communicate important developments to the engagement manager along with facts, conclusions, and recommended 

  • Maintain highest standards or ethics and confidentiality with clients

  • Inspire, motivate, and hold staff supervised accountable

  • Prepare engagement letters and financial statements as needed

  • Tax return review for accuracy and completeness
