TAX SUPERVISOR -
Public Accounting

Minimum Requirements:
-
Bachelor's Degree
-
Currently licensed CPA
-
3-5 years of experience
-
Thorough knowledge of GAAP
-
Abreast of tax law changes
-
Experience supervising multiple engagements
-
Experience leading and supervising staff
High-Level Responsibilities:
-
Tax return preparation as needed
-
Perform tax projections, structuring and modeling
-
Supervise engagements including planning, organization, execution, and coordination of assignments all while ensuring quality and timely delivery

Maximize personal charge time and that of staff supervised
-
Develop an understanding of the client's business and become a "functional expert" in the area

Supervise and review staff work
-
Communicate effectively with senior and subordinate staff as to status of work, deadlines, and budgets

Maintain highest standards or ethics and confidentiality with clients
-
Inspire, motivate, and hold staff supervised accountable
-
Prepare engagement letters and financial statements as needed
-
Tax return review for accuracy and completeness
