Fair, Anderson and Langerman is seeking a Tax Supervisor that will be responsible for the following:

  • Preparation of business, trust and individual tax returns

  • Tax planning and projections

  • Interaction with clients on tax return information, due dates, deadlines and other matters

  • Identify issues and opportunities for clients and make recommendations

  • Assist with special projects, as needed

  • Manage own workload and budgets by monitoring project/return deadlines, maintain communications with team members on project status and issues

  • Assist with tax research, as needed

  • Respond to notices regarding federal and state taxes


  • 5 or more years of tax preparation experience

  • Bachelors degree in business or accounting

  • CPA license or working toward licensure

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Exhibits an ownership attitude and willingness to grow

  • Organized, with attention to detail

  • Strong accounting, analytical skills and problem solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proactive and client service oriented

  • Highly motivated and interested in taking the initiative for personal growth and development

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, tasks and simultaneous projects

  • Experience with Word, Excel, and CCH ProSystem Tax and Engagement software a plus
