What You’ll Bring to the Table…

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Currently licensed CPA

  • 7-10 years of public accounting experience

  • Working knowledge of GAAP

  • Timely and current knowledge of tax law and filing requirements

  • Experience managing, directing, reviewing, and monitoring multiple engagements

  • Experience leading and managing staff

  • Technical proficiency in industry software packages

 

What You’ll Be Doing…

  • Tax return review and research with an emphasis on tax law compliance, minimizing/reducing tax liability and training/educating staff

  • Oversee the workflow and deliverable of multiple tax engagements including the segmentation and delegation of complex returns to staff

  • Interface with clients to obtain needed information and ensure satisfaction

  • Actively participate in the development of tax strategies that minimize a client's tax liability

  • Research complex tax issues, advise and make recommendations based on findings

  • Perform or review tax projections, structuring and modeling

  • Inspire, motivate, and hold teams accountable

  • Communicate effectively with senior and subordinate staff as to status of work, deadlines and bud

  • Maintain highest standards or ethics and confidentiality with clients while building a relationship with them as a business resource

  • Stay abreast of tax law changes, requirements and strategies

  • Manage, direct, and monitor multiple engagements

  • Play a significant role in the professional development of staff members, including coaching and resolving problems
